A measurement system was developed for the hydrostat production of Lama PLLC from Dekani, Slovenia. It enables precise measuring of parts in the white goods production.
The special features of this system are the selection of light conditions and hydrostat colour selection, as the hydrostats are produced in different colours, each in two shades, resulting in different light contrasts. After the colour and illumination condition selection, the necessary geometry of the manufactured piece is measured precisely to control the regularity of individual parts of the piece. Another specific feature of this system is the possibility of on-the-spot border tolerance setting by the operator.
Equipment used: a Control Vision System, SXGA camera and custom made LED lighting.
